A Message from our Pastor
A Parish, a Church, a faith filled Community, the Body of Christ, the People of God. Yes, this is who we are at Sacred Heart. However, I believe that which truly reflects us, is to say, "we are children of God', and that means we are one family! Sisters and Brothers who gather at home on Sunday to share the meal that gives life and fills us with love.
Love comes from God, for God is Love, and families need to be rooted in love. We remember, we celebrate, and we renew ourselves through participating in the Eucharist: a prayer, God's Word spoken in care, with Christ's body broken and shared. We come as we are, and receive that which we need for the rest of our week on our journey toward God.
Over the years, our parish Family has grown through diversity, which is a great blessing. We come to Sacred Heart, because we feel we belong. We are a close community, whose people feel welcome and free to celebrate our faith in prayer, song, dance and action. I pray we always remain that way.
